Local Advertiser Terms of Service

Welcome to KwikLocalAds. By submitting an advertisement for display on our local television network, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Service Overview

KwikLocalAds provides local businesses with digital advertising placement on community television screens. Ads are displayed in a rotating schedule across participating locations and may include both static and animated content.

Each ad placement includes:

  • Guaranteed on-screen display time as part of the shared rotation.
  • Weekly management and scheduling by KwikLocalAds.
  • Basic creative support (resizing, optimization, or adjustments as needed).

2. Pricing and Billing

  • The advertising rate is $49.95 per week or $195.99 per month per ad placement.
  • Payment is due in advance of each advertising week.
  • Invoices or automated payments will be issued through KwikLocalAds or its approved payment processor.
  • Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and may be updated with notice.

3. Duration and Cancellation

  • Advertising runs on a week-to-week basis.
  • You may cancel at any time before the start of your next billing week.
  • No cancellation fees or notice periods are required.
  • Once a week’s advertising period begins, the payment for that week is non-refundable.

4. Content Guidelines

  • No false, misleading, or deceptive claims.
  • No adult material, hate speech, illegal activity, or political promotion.
  • All ads must adhere to local laws and broadcast standards.
  • KwikLocalAds reserves the right to reject or remove any ad that violates these guidelines or could harm its reputation or partners.

5. Ad Placement and Scheduling

  • Ad rotation and order are determined automatically by the system.
  • Specific times or sequence placement cannot be guaranteed.
  • Technical issues or short downtimes may occur; KwikLocalAds will make every effort to restore service promptly.

6. Liability

  • KwikLocalAds is not responsible for interruptions, playback errors, or equipment malfunctions.
  • KwikLocalAds is not liable for loss of revenue or business resulting from ad timing or visibility.
  • Advertisers are responsible for ensuring submitted materials do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, or third-party rights.

7. Modifications

KwikLocalAds may update or revise these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available at kwiklocalads.com/terms.

Host Partner Terms of Service

By participating as a KwikLocalAds Host Partner and allowing a display screen in your business, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Program Overview

KwikLocalAds provides digital displays that promote local businesses, community events, and public information. As a Host, you provide a visible location for the display in exchange for exposure, community engagement, and potential affiliate income.

2. Host Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, visible location for the screen and ensure it remains powered and connected to Wi-Fi during business hours.
  • Notify KwikLocalAds of any issues affecting display visibility, power, or connection.
  • Do not modify, relocate, or tamper with the device or its settings without prior consent.

3. Equipment Ownership

  • All media players, screens, and accessories provided by KwikLocalAds remain the property of KwikLocalAds.
  • KwikLocalAds may remove or replace equipment at any time with notice.

4. Affiliate Earnings

  • Each display includes a “Place Your Ad Here” QR code linked to your affiliate ID.
  • Hosts earn commissions when advertisers purchase ad space through that link.
  • Commissions are paid monthly once the total balance exceeds the minimum payout threshold.

5. Content and Control

  • All content is managed remotely by KwikLocalAds.
  • Hosts cannot alter or schedule specific content, but may request their own promotional material be added for inclusion in rotation.
  • KwikLocalAds will ensure all displayed content is family-friendly, non-political, and community appropriate.

6. Screen Usage and Access

The display provided by KwikLocalAds is dedicated exclusively to scheduled advertising and community programming. Hosts must ensure that:

  • The screen remains connected to the KwikLocalAds system at all times during operation.
  • The display is not repurposed or used for unrelated viewing (e.g., streaming, gaming, or personal media).
  • All settings, inputs, and connections remain as originally configured.

KwikLocalAds remotely manages all display content and performance to maintain consistent uptime and advertiser value. Unauthorized modification or repurposing of the display may result in suspension or removal from the program.

7. Liability and Indemnity

  • KwikLocalAds is not responsible for any damage to the host’s premises caused by misuse or alteration of provided equipment.
  • Hosts agree to operate the display responsibly and maintain basic electrical and network access.
  • KwikLocalAds assumes no liability for interruptions in service or content playback.

8. Termination

  • Either party may terminate participation at any time with written notice.
  • Upon termination, all KwikLocalAds equipment must be returned in working condition within 14 days.

9. Modifications

KwikLocalAds may update these Terms periodically. The latest version will always be available at kwiklocalads.com/terms.
